Harlequin Ladies Division 1 league campaign kicks off on Sunday 18 September 2005 against Lakenham Hewitt writes Mel Antao. Kick off will be around 2pm and the game will be played at the NEC Harlequins Training Ground, Roehampton Vale (off the A3).

The 10-5 victory over Hammersmith & Fulham and recent 15-15 draw against Wimbledon have given the selectors an opportunity to blood new players and try out new combinations.

1st XV Captain Jo Everett comments, "The Ladies have worked hard throughout the summer to develop their fitness and handling skills. All the hard work has paid off with two good results as we prepare for our first league game. Lakenham Hewitt will be a challenging game, but with the commitment shown so far, I have no doubt that the Ladies will play a strong game."
