North West Region Trials Arrangements
Senior Programme
Instead of running an open Regional Programme Trial in 05/06 it has been decided to build on the continuing success of the Lancashire and Cheshire county programmes, integrating the County squads into the RFUW Player Pathway. Coaching teams from Lancashire and Cheshire Counties will be nominating players to the NW Regional Squad.
In recognition that this is Year 1 in this integration process, some nominations from Club and University Coaches will also be accepted. In season 2006/7 it is envisaged that nominations to the NW Regional Squad (and therefore PDAs, Super 4s and England) will be exclusively through participation in the counties programme.
Please send your list of nominated players and their completed Senior Regional Trials Registration forms to the Senior Regional Programme Manager and Head Coach by 18th December.
Linda will then submit the up to date player registration database to RFUW HQ. The £5 Player Registration fee will be payable on the 1st Squad Training Session.
Nominated players will be required to attend training session 1 at Broughton Park on January 29th 10am-4pm. Please arrive changed and bring a passport photograph and a packed lunch. Training session 2 will be held on the evening of 3rd February.
