26 April 2006 This is a very varied and busy new role working with the Rugby Football Union for Women Ltd in Twickenham at a very exciting time, the England women have just won the 2006 Women’s Six Nations Grand Slam and are preparing for the Women’s World Cup later this year in Canada.
Main duties of the role will be providing general secretarial and administration support, to include player, sessional staff and volunteer personnel administration, and assisting in event organisation administration. The role will work closely with and report directly to the RFUW Office Manager and there is scope for the job holder to become involved in projects and take ownership of tasks.
The successful applicant will need to have sound secretarial and IT skills (inc word, excel and outlook) and experience, knowledge of office administration systems as well as excellent organisation and communication skills (both written and verbal) and have the ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines when necessary.
Working hours are 35 hours per week, generally Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm.
