Women’s Rugby Development Manager (North) Vacancy

 
 
 

Salary: £25-£28,000 plus company car and other benefits

Contract Period: 3 years

The Rugby Football Union for Women Ltd. (RFUW) wishes to appoint a Women’s Rugby Development Manager (WRDM) to co-ordinate and facilitate the delivery of its Strategic Plan objectives for the north of England (NE, NW and Yorkshire).

The position will have responsibility for achieving the allocated targets for the regions in the north in liaison with the RFU’s staff and volunteers as well as working through the RFUW delivery structures.

The position is to be located in the Leeds area and you will be responsible to the National Development Manager.

This is a challenging position and the successful candidate will be part of a small dynamic team dedicated to delivering rugby for women and girls. 

Candidates should have good knowledge and experience of sports development, as well as good communication and influencing skills.  A knowledge of women’s rugby and volunteer management experience would be an advantage.
