Loughborough hosts first-ever girls training session

October 3rd, 2006

Loughborough RFC will host its first-ever girls training session this Sunday and they are inviting youngsters aged 17 and under to attend.

The club, which already has a successful women’s, mini and junior section, is looking to introduce a girls' squad to bridge the gap between junior and senior rugby and also provide competitive opportunities for girls that want to play rugby in the region.

Girls of all ages and abilities, including newcomers to the sport, are invited to attend the session which will be led by qualified coaches and supported by members of the women's team.

The session starts at 10am and is expected to finish by 12 noon. For directions, log onto www.lrfc.org.uk/directions.htm or for more information contact Laura Jane Adams on 07966 082 157.

Ends…
