A Rugby Football Union Disciplinary Hearing for Women has found Loughborough Students Women’s Rugby Club guilty of fielding three unregistered players and providing incorrect information on match report forms and thereby breaching RFUW Rules and Regulations 2.4.3 and 2.15.5.
The incidents took place during matches against Malvern Angles and Bridgenorth on September 24th and October 1st 2006 respectively.
Loughborough Students Women’s Rugby Club must pay a fine of £225, both matches have been awarded as walkovers to the opposition and they have been deducted four league points.
Additionally Loughborough Students Women’s Rugby Club must also provide the RFUW with an updated and correct player registration database as well as a development plan with the long terms aims and objectives of the university league side by December 20th 2006.
