PE teacher Mark Scott teaches the girls and comments:

‘This is the first year there has been a national Colleges’ rugby team for women and they have done exceptionally well to be selected. They are all talented players and are doing much to promote women’s rugby in the College and the area. We are extremely proud of their achievements.’ |
As well as Club and College rugby Sally, Kathryn and Katherine are also well established members of the U17 North East Regional squad.
Kathryn Parker concludes:

‘We are really excited about being selected and are looking forward to the match against the Welsh Colleges. The training and games will be hard, but we’re all up for it.’ |
