RFU Anti-Doping

The Rugby Football Union (RFU) condemns doping, the use of Prohibited Substances and Methods to enhance performance, and is committed to promoting rugby that is ethically fair and drug free. There is simply no place for doping in rugby, it is harmful to the health of players and totally contrary to the spirit of rugby.

The RFU works with UK Sport, the International Rugby Board (IRB) and the World Anti-Doping Agency in the fight against doping and conducts a comprehensive anti-doping programme of testing, education and results management.
