To ensure that all rugby players, coaches and support personnel understand what doping is and where there responsibilities lie, the RFU has teamed up with UK Sport to develop a comprehensive anti-doping education strategy. Using the 100% ME brand and through implementing a number of initiatives we aim to achieve our vision of:

Creating a generation of rugby players who have confidence in their ability to succeed without the use of prohibited substances or methods and to create a sporting environment where doping is not tolerated.

The RFU values the contribution that sport can make to health, national pride and social development when fostered within a strong ethical environment. The RFU identifies integrity, fairness, equity and respect as essential to success in rugby and it aims to protect the spirit of rugby from being undermined by doping and to protect a player’s fundamental right to participate in doping free sport.
