The Rugby Football Union for Women will be hosting Women and Girls Coach Education sessions across the North West this summer.

There will be 15 session throughout June, July and August at Caldy, Tyldesley, Altrincham Kersal, Vale of Lune and Cockermouth.

The sessions have come after a demand from clubs in the area to provide more coach education sessions.  The sessions will be delivered by RFU Coach Developers and will concentrate on handling and decision making, tackling and continuity.

Mark Harper, the RFUW’s Club & Coach Officer for the North West said: “Whilst the sessions are intended for existing women and girls’ players, and their coaches, they are open to new players and to coaches from the male game as well.  To book a place all the coaches need do is get in contact with me. Players are also vital for these sessions to run so if you would like to attend and receive some coaching then please get in touch.”

All sessions will be running from 630pm to 830pm.
