It has come to the attention of the management of Scrum.com that recently there have been a number of postings regarding the RFUW, which appear to be of a personal nature regarding the RFUW's internal affairs. This has resulted in complaints from the RFUW.
Scrum.com has always sought to position itself as a forum where genuine rugby fans can exchange views on matters of topical interest to the rugby community worldwide and the RFUW fully endorses this policy. The management of Scrum.com does, however, feel that the bulletin board facility should not be used to publish personal and abusive statements and any further postings of this nature will be removed and the thread closed down.
Repeat offenders will be blocked from access to postings on the bulletin board.
It would be a shame if the actions of a few prejudiced the ability of Scrum.com to provide a facility which allows many to indulge in healthy debate about the game of rugby. We would ask users of the bulletin board to bear this in mind in the future.
The RFUW has also asked us to point out that they as a body are more than happy to receive any criticism of their conduct and affairs directly, but do not feel that the anonymous use of the bulletin board of Scrum.com is a suitable medium for any such complaints which should be made direct to the RFUW.
This statement has the full backing and endorsement of the RFUW. |
