The purpose of the Rugby Football Foundation is to invest in community rugby facilities via the Community Rugby Capital Fund.  The overall aim of the scheme is to finance capital projects to improve facilities and which contribute to the recruitment and retention of community rugby players.

Eligible Clubs

All clubs at levels 5 and below in the English Clubs Rugby Union Championship (i.e. the leagues) are eligible to apply to the fund.

To be eligible clubs must have completed the RFU questionnaire for the most recent season.  An application may be refused if a Club does not satisfy the requirements of the RFU’s National Facilities Strategy, or may be conditional upon satisfying such conditions.
