England women got the weekend off to a great start with wins from the A and Students teams at Newbury RFC.

England A took on the Nomads. Three tries from Katie Mclean secured a 21-17 win for England and their second win over the Nomads in as many weeks.

England Students beat the Army convincingly with a 29-7 win.
