Sunday 4th April 2004 saw over 170 girls attending the 4th Annual Crawley Under 16 10s tournament. 20 clubs were represented making it the biggest tournament of this kind so far
The final was an excellent game with 17:17 the final score. It was decided by organisers that Thanet and Hereford were joint winners as they could not be split through a count back of the whole tournament.
Shelia Chapman said “It was good to see so many teams attending from very new to old and established and it was a pleasure to watch, and to try to spot the stars of the future.
