RFUW Regional Festival - 8^th/9^th May 2004 @ Lichfield RFC

The 2004 RFUW Regional Programme concludes this weekend with a two day festival of rugby taking place at Lichfield RFC

On Saturday 8^th May the Senior Regional teams will take part in a ‘round-robin’ tournament with matches beginning at 11:30 am going through to 4:30pm

On Sunday 9^th May, 500 U16 and U18 players will be competing in their own festival, matches start at 11am, finishing at around 4:30pm.

Both festivals offer the opportunity to players to test their skills against the best players from all over the country – with senior players looking to impress Performance Development Academy coaches before the PDA trials (5^th June) and the U16’s and U18’s striving for selection for the U16 and U18 Junior Performance Camp, to be held at Loughborough University over the weekend 23^rd-25^th July.

In previous years the festival has proved to be a huge success and continues to go from strength to strength – spectators are more than welcome – free entry
