The England women's European rugby team defeated Wales today 37 - 3 at the 2004 FIRA European Championships in Toulouse. They are now looking to avenge the defeat by France earlier this year in the Six Nations Championships, when they narrowly lost 13-12 on French soil.
Watching from the sidelines was England women's head coach Geoff Richards who commented, "it was a great win for the team in very windy conditions, the front row played exceptionally well and the team as a whole managed to control possession throughout the game and did not panic."
The final will be played on Saturday 8th May at Stade des Minimes, Toulouse KO 17.30hrs CET
