England women won the inaugural tournament last summer, with a 21-18 victory in extra time over the hosts, Canada, in the final. However, with the addition of New Zealand to this years line up, England will have to play a tough game to overcome the number one ranked team in the world and retain their title.
Also competing will be the United States in the event, which will be staged in Calgary and Edmonton. England will play the tournament opener against Canada on 12th June in Calgary. The final will take place at the Commonwealth Stadium in Edmonton on 19th June.
