The RFUW is pleased to announce that the planning and implementation of the 2004/05 Junior (U14 & U17) Regional Programme has begun.
The success of the 2003/04 RFUW Regional programme has demonstrated once again, that women’s and girls rugby is flourishing in England and the RFUW is determined to offer and deliver a regional programme of the highest quality possible.
The planning and organisation of the 2004/05 programme began following the conclusion of last season’s programme in May. Following feedback and consultation with coaches, managers, players and parents involved in our largest, centrally operated national programme, we have implemented a number of changes, all of which we believe will improve the quality in terms of organisation, coaching and performance. It is our aim that the Regional Programme will continue to attract, quality volunteer staff as well as developing and identifying talented rugby players.
The following document gives details of the structure and format of the 2004/05 Regional Programme; the aims of the programme, why the RFUW run it, the dates, staffing structures etc.
