A rare opportunity to work with some of the most talented young rugby union players in the country has arisen in the North with the North 16 Group forwards coach role becoming vacant.
Each year the flow of gifted young players through this age group results in youngsters progressing into national sides and last season was no exception, with 16 players representing the three England Under 16 teams.
Yorkshire’s Steve Reynolds, the England B team manager last season, remains as North 16 Group Manager, England A coach Stuart Hardy (Durham) is Director of Coaching and Paul Miller (Cheshire) remains as the North backs coach.
The job is non-remunerative, but with mileage and expenses allowed.
The successful applicant will hold at least a Level 2 RFU Coaching Certificate, have played rugby to a good standard and have coached to County level.
Applications should be sent by e-mail to North 16 Group chairman Ken Andrews at Kenandrews5@msn.com <mailto:Kenandrews5@msn.com> |
