Loughborough lock Ben Griffiths leads English Universities in their annual clash with the Combined Services Under-23 team at Twickenham tomorrow (12pm).
The Universities side is drawn from drawn from players taking part in this season's BUSA Championships.
They have a point to make after last year’s 26-23 defeat ended their 10-year winning streak in the contest.
"We should be much stronger this year – particularly in the back row – and we’re looking for a much better performance at Twickenham this time," said manager Keith Green.
Loughborough provide six players and St Mary’s four to the squad coached by Paul Westgate, the former Exeter Chiefs, Loughborough and England Counties coach who is now the director of rugby at Nuneaton.
