Leeds Tykes vs Llanelli Scarlets Powergen Cup News

England Sevens international Rob Vickerman is set to make his debut for the Tykes this Sunday against Llanelli at Headingley, kick off 5pm. Vickerman, who is a product of the Tykes Academy structute, attended Hymers College in Hull along with team mate Tom Biggs and was part of the England Sevens squad last season making his debut in the Paris Sevens.

The 20-year-old centre was born in Leeds and has been a key player for the Tykes in the Guinness A League so far this season. He comes in for Andre Snyman who is unavailable due to family commitments overseas. South African prop Rayno Gerber comes into the starting line up for Mike Shelley for his first start since the Powergen Cup semi final back in March. Stuart Hooper returns for Chris Murphy to captain the side whilst Gordon Ross swaps places with Roland De Marigny at fly half.
