Bath’s David Barnes is to appear before a joint RFU/WRU disciplinary hearing on Monday, October 17.

The prop was cited for striking an opponent in the Powergen Cup game between Bath and the Ospreys on October 9.

The charge was brought following the independent citing officer’s review of tapes of the game.

The hearing takes place at the London Bloomsbury Holiday Inn at 8pm with a RFU/WRU combined panel of Jeff Blackett, Geraint Jones and Jeff Probyn.
