An inspirational leader, Simon has captain the England Sevens squad for the past four years. He has been involved with the squad since 2001 and has played in two Commonwealth Games.  Nicknamed ‘Pog’, Simon has led England to a record four successive victories in Hong Kong and two successive victories in Dubai. 

This summer he moved from Gloucester to London Wasps and has also played for NEC Harlequins, London Irish, Blackheath, Coventry and Rugby Lions.  

The Kingston-upon-Thames man is also a Cambridge Blue having graduated with a degree in Management Studies.   Simon got married in the summer and is currently studying for an MBA via a long distance learning course with the University of the Southern Cross in Australia. 

Simon is a member of the core England Sevens squad this season.
