Andy was part of the Commonwealth Games squad in 2006 winning a silver medal and also in the same year he played a key role in England’s record fourth successive victory in Hong Kong.

Known as ‘Vilky’ or the ‘Tank’, Andy made his premiership debut for Saints in the 2003/04 season, having been a student at Loughborough University. In the summer of 2006 he made the move to Sale Sharks where he’s currently playing.
He was educated at the Oratory School near Reading where he played rugby and soccer.

Andy has a twin sister called Michelle. His father is from the Czech Republic and his mother is Slovakian.
