After retiring Mike resumed his career as a Chartered Surveyor and continued his coaching development as a player coach at Rosslyn Park.
As well as coaching the sevens squad, Mike is one of the RFU’s National Academy Coaches. Since being responsible for the sevens team, the squad have been increasingly successful, winning England’s first ever medal at this year’s Commonwealth Games (silver) and the Hong Kong Sevens for a record fourth successive year. They have also recorded back to back wins at the Emirates Airline Dubai Sevens.
