Five players from North Midlands, the Midlands group winners of the National Under-20 Championship, have been included in the Midlands squad for the annual Under-20 Divisional Match against London & SE at Aldershot on Sunday May 18 (2.30pm).
Full-back Cameron Pimlow, winger Sam Yarwood, prop Paul Norris and flankers Ben Pons and Matt Tibbatts all helped North Midlands defeat Staffordshire in the regional final at Burntwood last month before they were beaten by Yorkshire in the national semi-finals.
Staffordshire have six players in the Midlands squad including replacement scrum-half Ben Robson who is the son of former Moseley and England A scrum-half Simon.
Nottingham lock David Rhodes will captain the Midlands at Aldershot.
The London game will be followed by two training matches in a day for the Midlands on June 1 when they play the United States and North Wales at the North Wales Academy ground at Ruthin. The day will form part of the USA's prepartions for the Under-20 World Championships in Wales.
