Watch the heroes train at Twickenham Stadium

Help for Heroes rugby captains Lawrence Dallaglio and Scott Gibbs invite you to watch them train on September 19.

The two rugby legends will hold an open training session from 10am-12pm which will see Lawrence’s Help for Heroes XV and Scott’s International XV take to the Twickenham turf as they prepare for the Help for Heroes Challenge Match the following day.

Martin Johnson, Jonah Lomu, Will Greenwood, Jason Robinson, Martin Offiah, Kenny Logan, Dan Luger, Mark Regan, Gordon Bulloch and Paul Volley are just some of the names that will be at the session.

After that a selection of players from both teams will be available in the stadium’s Rugby Store for a 20 minute signing session.

Entrance to the Help for Heroes Challenge Match training and signing session is free and everyone is welcome.

Anyone wishing to attend the session should arrive at Twickenham Stadium as follows:

PEDESTRIANS – Please arrive at Gate 4 in Rugby Road no later than 9.45am.

BY CAR – Please arrive at Gate 3 in Whitton Dene no later than 9.45am.

All supporters will then be collected from Gate D and escorted through to the North End of the West Stand lower tier where they can watch training.

The Help for Heroes XV, managed by former England captain Phil de Glanville, will face an International XV managed by Ieuan Evans on Saturday 20 September at 2.30pm. The match aims to raise £1million for Help for Heroes charity and the care and rehabilitation of injured British service personnel who have served in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Tickets are priced from £20 for adults, £10 for juniors (under 16) with a family ticket for two adults and two children costing £50.00.  Help for Heroes is supported by Investec, Lord Ashcroft and Nintendo.
