Powergen Cup and Intermediate Cup draws

 
 

The draws for the latest rounds of the Powergen Cup, Powergen Intermediate Cup and Junior Vase are as follows:

Powergen Cup, Quarter Finals, 25/6th January 2003

Saturday Jan 25th, 2:15pm Bath v Northampton Saints
Saturday Jan 25th, 2:45pm NEC Harlequins v Leicester Tigers
Saturday Jan 25th, 3:00pm Gloucester v Saracen
Sunday Jan 26th, 3:00pm London Irish v Rotherham

NEC Harlequins v Leicester Tigers will be shown live on the BBC.  Leicester Tigers have lost the previous two encounters between the sides.

Please note that London Irish kick off time and day may be subject to change in the event that Reading F.C. win their third round tie and are drawn at home and are selected by the broadcaster/tournament to play on the Sunday.

Powergen Intermediate Cup, Sixth Round, 18th January 2003

London & SE/South West
Keynsham v Hertford
Clevedon v Canterbury
St Mary's OB  v Haywards Heath
Bank of England v Cheltenham

Midland/North
Derby  v Penrith
Chester v Ruislip
Bradford & Bingley  v Leicester Lions
Lymm v Horden

In order to achieve an equal number of clubs in the Powergen Intermediate Cup, a draw was made between 1) Cheltenham, 2) Keynsham and 3) Ruislip.  Number 3 was drawn and Ruislip were transferred into the Midland/North Area.
