TWO Bradford clubs are closing in on a date at Twickenham after reaching the quarter-finals of the Powergen Intermediate Cup and Powergen Junior Vase.
But they both face tough ties on February 22, with Bradford & Bingley making the trip to Cheltenham in the Powergen Intermediate Cup while Bradford Salem have to travel to Nottingham side Mellish in the Powergen Junior Vase.
Ironically, they are trying to emulate the feat of another West Yorkshire town, Halifax, which had two teams in the finals last season. Halifax won the Powergen Intermediate Cup and Heath triumphed in the Powergen Junior Vase.
