On the request of the IRB, scrum half Andy Gomarsall has joined the England party to travel to Sydney for the IRB hearing today.

Gomarsall, who was on the England bench at the time Dan Luger took to the field against Samoa, joins Woodward, Luger, Reddin, Richard Prescott, media liason officer, and lawyer Richard Smith.

Woodward expects to know the result of the hearing on Thursday morning (UK time) although the IRB may decide to adjourn until Friday.
