Bath's Steve Borthwick has been ordered to appear at an RFU disciplinary hearing next week.
Borthwick was cited for an alleged act of foul play in the Zurich Premiership match between Bath and Newcastle Falcons on September 11.
The England lock's case will be heard by an RFU disciplinary panel chaired by Richard Moon at the Coventry M6 Holiday Inn on Tuesday, September 21 (7.45pm).
The charge against Borthwick was initiated by the nominated Premiership Citing Officer.
The other two members of the panel will be named in due course.
