England name 18 Group core squad

The England 18 Group selectors have named an 80-strong training group to prepare for this season’s international programme.
The core squad trains at Broadstreet, Coventry, on January 2-4 before being split into three England 18 Group teams
One side of players 18 or under on January 1 takes part in the Association Européen Rugby festival in Lille on March 17-26.
A second January 1 side plays in the Four Home Unions Festival in Wales on March 25 to April 1.
The other team, for players 18 or under on September 1 takes on Ireland at Cork on March 26, France at Bournemouth on April 2 and Wales at Neath on April 9.
The squad was selected after the Divisional Festival at Castlecroft on December 17-19.
The North provide the biggest contingent of 25 players, with 22 from the South West, 19 from London and the South East, and 14 from the Midlands.
