Warriors announce 35% increase on season ticket sales

28th July 2005
Issued on behalf of Worcester Warriors
Worcester Warriors have announced a 35% increase on season ticket sales so far in the run up to the start of their second Premiership season.  The figure currently stands at 4750 with a 5000 cap on season tickets as the club would like to encourage those supporters who may not be able to stretch to a season ticket.

There are a variety of improvements at Sixways for the coming season including a new North stand which has been changed from standing to seated and will add  a further 1200 seats to the capacity which will grow to 9700.  Further improvements include the upgrading of the floor on the indoor training centre to a new more robust fibre, but ever watchful on the environment the club is recycling the redundant floor which is sand based - to improve the parking facilities at the ground.

The Warriors are also delighted that there are already 800 corporate clients who have booked a dining package for every home game and there are over 1000 diners for the first match of the season against Gloucester.

Tickets for the Gloucester game go on sale on 1st August from the ticket office on 0870 990 5650 which is open Monday to Friday 9am-4.30pm
