Biggs going back to his roots

15th August 2005
Issued on behalf of Leeds Tykes
Leeds Tykes young player of the year Tom Biggs is going back to his roots this Wednesday 17th August when he will attend a summer camp for 80 young rugby players in his home town of Hull at Hull Ionians RUFC at 2pm.

Biggs, who emerged onto the national rugby stage with a host of sensational tries for the Tykes last season, attended the Hymers School in Hull before moving to Leeds to do a Business Degree at Leeds Metropolitan University however on Wednesday he will head back to Hull to hopefully inspire future rugby players in the area.

The camp at Hull Ionians is part of the Tykes summer rugby camp campaign which will see over 1,000 youngsters across Yorkshire be involved with the Headingley based club during the summer holidays.
