Don Valley Date for Premiership Party

Rotherham Titans have announced that their final home game of the campaign against Jonny Wilkinson's Newcastle Falcons will be played at Don Valley Stadium.

The club has been ground sharing with Rotherham United at Millmoor this season but has moved the fixture to facilitate an indoor party for 1,000 supporters.

"It's been a long and hard season and we want to go out with a bang," said Rotherham Titans Commercial Director Paul Kimberley.

"A party for our fans seems like a good way to thank them for their support over the past 12 months. This will be a great occasion, not just for our supporters, but for all sports fans in Rotherham, Sheffield and South Yorkshire."

The game takes place on Saturday May 8th at 3pm, and with Jonny Wilkinson aiming to get back into action in mid-April, the England fly-half is likely to line-up against the Titans.

The club is urging supporters to pre-book their seats to avoid queues on the day. Tickets can be bought from the Hallam FM arena box office on 0114 256 5656 from Monday.
