Saints sign back-row Ross Beattie and Prop Simon Emms

The club was forced to seek out new players following the retirement of Rob Hunter and the injuries that have hit Saints’ front row. Former Bristol Shoguns captain Beattie, 27, who has nine caps for Scotland, has signed from Newport Gwent Dragons. He said: “I am delighted to be here. I am looking forward to this weekend’s game and the rest of the season.”
