8th August 2005 Issued on behalf of Northampton Saints
Northampton Saints have announced their squad of 10 for Saturday's Middlesex Sevens at Twickenham.
Among the squad are four England sevens players in John Rudd, Grant Seely, Andy Vilk and Johnny Howard. Academy full-back/wing Will Harries also turned out for a young England side - St George Samurai - at yesterday's sevens tournament at Henley RFC.
The squad also features Jon Clarke, who made a successful return from injury yesterday.
Saints sevens coach Paul Larkin said: "We are definitely up for the Middlesex Sevens. We got to the final of yesterday's Henley sevens tournament with a much younger squad and, as a result, there is some confidence in the camp. We would love to get to the final on Saturday - it's a one-off occasion, so anything can happen."
