England take Emirates Airline Dubai Sevens for second year

Simon Amor photo by Getty Images Friday 2nd December 2005 Yet again Tom Varndell was the man to watch in England's thrilling title win over Fiji in front of a packed 30,000 crowd in Dubai. Speaking after the game captain Simon Amor said, "I am absolutely shattered as these tournaments get harder each year. But this was a full 12 man effort and I am so proud of all of them.  They richly deserve this victory. Eight of the squad have never won a sevens tournament before so that makes the victory even sweeter. I am so proud of everyone."
