England Sevens Coach Ben Ryan has named an exciting squad for the final two legs of the IRB Sevens series. The squad will play in the Emirates Airline London Sevens at Twickenham on the weekend of 26th & 27th May and then a week later at Murrayfield. Ryan says, "This is a strong squad and I am pleased with the balance between youth and experience. It is great news that Ben Foden is back involved with the squad having played last season, and with Foden, Danny Care and captain Simon Amor we have three very talented play makers." England, who sit in fifth place in the IRB Sevens table, face a tough pool in London with Wales, Portugal and South Africa in their group. England have won the Emirates Airline London Sevens twice (in 2003 and 2004) and are keen to reclaim the trophy in front of thousands of home fans. Ryan says, "This year has been a really hard series for England but we are looking ahead to next year already and beginning our 2008 campaign at Twickenham in a few weeks. We are in no doubts that it will be a tough tournament but we are aiming to top our group by beating Wales, Portugal and South Africa as a result. Everyone will be very proud to run out at Twickenham and we will work hard to get the result we want which is a home win." Tickets to watch England - and 15 other nations including Australia, New Zealand, Fiji and Scotland - are on sale now from Ticketmaster from £10.
