"Obviously I have played a bit on the wing and at scrum-half. I would prefer to play at No 9 but hopefully I can take what I have learnt from playing on the wing and use it this weekend in Sevens.
"Things have completely changed in Sevens in the last 12 months. There are a lot of new faces but that's good for me as it means that players are pushing through from the Sevens to the senior team.”
England - fifth place in the IRB Sevens table - face a hard pool of Wales, Portugal and South Africa and Foden added: “The Welsh boys will be tough as they are always up for a game against us and South Africa have been strong all season. But to win in Sevens you have to beat the best and we know that.
“Twickenham is a great spectacle and is every boy’s dream to play there and I have been lucky to go with Sale in the Premiership final and the London Sevens last year.” Day One (Saturday May 26) sees England face Portugal at 11.34, Wales at 14.40 and then South Africa in the last game at 17.58. Tickets to watch England - and 15 other nations including Australia, New Zealand, Fiji and Scotland - are on sale now from Twickenham Stadium from £10.
