Check out our weekly preview and predictions for National Three North.
Darlington v Kendal
Although they went down at New Brighton last weekend Darlington seem to be improving and have picked up two home wins in the last four matches in National Three North and will fancy their chances of a third successive home win against Kendal who have one just once in four matches this season.
13th placed Darlington have scored more tries than Kendal with 23 too 19 and 14 of those coming at home while Kendal have managed just five on their travels this season.
Kendal have the edge defensively having conceded seven tries fewer than their North East rivals.

Dudley Kingswinford v Darlington Mowden Park
DK slipped to a third straight league defeat last Saturday and need to turn their disappointing league form round. They have picked up just two league wins all season and find themselves in 12th place.
They have the worst defensive record in the division with 272 points conceded and 40 tries which is nine more than Macclesfield the second highest conceded total in the division.
Darlington MP though will be looking to build on last week’s performance against Waterloo who they pushed all the way before going down by just five points. DMP are 9th at present and just picked up the one away win out of four so far this season.
Although they are bottom of the pile in tries conceded in tries scored they are ahead of DMP with 24 too 18.
Team news
Prediction: Darlington away win by 10 but DK need to stop this bad run.

Halifax v Liverpool St Helens
Halifax made it eight out of eight last week with a comfortable win at Fylde last weekend whilst LSH were narrow winners at home against bottom of the table Longton after a late flourish. That win made it two wins out of three but away from home they have lost all three league matches this season but did give New Brighton a tough match before going down by two points.
LSH though are the only side to have beaten Halifax this season and at Halifax when they knocked them out of the Powergen Cup so will not be fazed.
Team news
Prediction: Halifax by 15 points to keep unbeaten run going.

Longton v New Brighton
Although they have put up two good performances over the last two weeks this is a match they did not need at this stage of the season as they look to come to terms with rugby in the National Leagues. They were home winners over Fylde two weeks ago and then last week nearly left Moss Lane with two more points but a late LSH rally sent them to a fourth straight away loss.
New Brighton have started to put together a run after a slow start to the season and will go to Roughcote Lane looking to make it five in a row and keep the pressure on the top two.
Team news
Prediction: New Brighton away win by 14 points.

Macclesfield v Blaydon
Macclesfield are up to seventh place in the table after their away win at Tynedale last Saturday. After scoring two early tries Gary Bell kicked them to victory with five second half penalty goals.
Blaydon had a big home win last weekend against Dudley Kingswinford as they got back to back defeats out of their system, although they were against the divisions top two sides.
Macclesfield have had to rely on the boot of Gary Bell quite a lot this season and along with New Brighton have kicked the most penalties in the division with 28. They have scored just 13 tries whilst Blaydon have scored 26 tries including 11 away from home.
Team news
Prediction: Blaydon away win by 10.

Preston v Tynedale
After four defeats in five matches Hoppers need to try and turn some of those narrow defeats into victories, as they were again narrow losers at Kendal last week.
Tynedale will be keen to get last weeks home defeat at the hands of Macclesfield out of their system.
Tynedale have already won twice on the road this season so will see this as a game they can win and stop the gap between them and 4th placed Blaydon growing.
In the tries for and against there is little to choose between the two sides with both sides conceding 17 tries and in attack Hoppers have scored one more try than Tynedale with 25 too 24. In penalties kicked though Tynedale have a big advantage with 15 kicked compared to just seven by Preston.
Team news
Prediction: After a series of narrow defeats Hoppers to get narrow win.

Waterloo v Fylde
Waterloo are looking for a seventh straight league win to keep their 100% start to the season going. They were pushed all the way last week by Darlington MP and needed the boot of Tony Handley to kick them to victory with four penalty goals.
After back-to-back wins Fylde have gone on a bad run and lost three on the bounce and are down in 11th place in the table. They have picked up just two wins all season and one of them has come away from home when they went to LSH and came away with the points.
Fylde have managed just 11 tries all season, which is the lowest total in the division whilst with 37 Waterloo are the league leaders in tries and 23 of them have come at Blundellsands.
Waterloo are looking for an 11th straight home win in the league since losing to Nuneaton mid way through last season.
Team news
Prediction: Home win by 20 points against out of sorts Fylde.
