Terrace Talk - National Two

Check out our weekly previews and predictions.

Rubgy Lions v Nuneaton is played on Friday night.

Rugby Lions v Nuneaton

Last time out at Lydney, Rugby Lions ended a four match losing run with a narrow two point win but this Friday night they will do well to get a result against an inform Nuneaton side.

Nuneaton are lying in third place in the National Two league table three points behind the top two and three points clear of fourth placed Doncaster.

Last weekend without playing the Lions dropped into the relegation zone with Esher beating Stourbridge in a match called of a few weeks ago when the pitch was unplayable as the battle to avoid the drop hots up.

Team news:

Prediction: Nuneaton to do the double over the Lions with 10 point win.

Doncaster v Harrogate

Fourth placed Doncaster entertain fellow Yorkshire side Harrogate looking to the double over them having already won at Claro Road earlier in the season.

Doncaster were beaten last time out to end a four match winning run and are six points off a promotion spot at present so will need the teams above them to slip up if they are to catch them with just six matches remaining.

Harrogate have stopped the losing run recently and have two draws and a win in their last four matches and a win would see them join Doncaster on 24 points and a win by more than 19 would see them move above them in the league table.

Team news:

Prediction: Doncaster to complete double over Harrogate with 10 point win.

Moseley v Esher

Big game for both sides in the bid to avoid the drop at the end of the season as ninth placed Moseley entertaining 11th placed Esher in the knowledge that an Esher win would see them go above Moseley in the table and put them just above the relegation zone.

Esher were home winners last weekend over Stourbridge and in the process moved out of the relegation zone and a win here could see them rise as high as seventh in the table.

Moseley did lose last time out but prior to that had a three match winning run but with all the sides around them also doing reasonable well at the moment they are still in the wrong area of the table.

Team news:

Prediction: Got to go Moseley win by less than 10 points.

Sedgley Park v Rosslyn Park

Sedgley Park have been knocked off the top of the table, all be it by points difference after a dreadful run which has seen them lose four of their last five matches in National Two.

Rosslyn Park on the other hand have three wins and a draw in their last six matches and a win here could see them move out of the relegation zone depending on results elsewhere as they have got back in touch with the sides above them in the league table.

Team news:

Prediction: Sedgley to get back to winning ways with narrow win less than seven points.

Lydney have managed just the two wins all season and are already relegated back into National Three South after just a season back up in National Two.

Team news:

Prediction: Stourbridge in need of win and will get it this week with 15 point win over bottom of the table Lydney.
