Barking 49 (Tries: Green 3, Stannard, Ansell 2, Mee, Azzopardi. Cons: Azzopardi 3, Mee.)
Barking responded well from the thrashing at the hands of Blackheath last time out with this win at Basingstoke.
The visitors made a good start and were 17-0 up after 16 minutes. With three tries as winger Stuart Green grabbed a brace and centre Glen Stannard went over and Azzopardi added a conversion.
Azzopardi kicked a penalty 20-0 before the home side got on the scoreboard when full back Neil Barton went over and Ian Calder converted.
Barking though responded immediately and ran in three more tries before the break to go in 37-7 ahead. Green completed a hat trick and prop Paul Ansell continued his try scoring exploits this season with a brace.
The game was over by half time and in the second half the home side responded well scoring three tries against just two more by the visitors.
Dings Crusaders 15 (Tries: Gasson, Edwards. Con: Gasson. Pen: Gasson.)
Redruth 13 (Tries: Thirlby, Cooper. Pen: Martin.)
Huge win for Dings as they look to avoid the drop right back into South West One, they are now just a point behind Haywards Heath after this win and just two matches remaining this season.
It was a tight match which could have gone anyway but it was Dings who took the points.
The home side were first on the scoreboard when scrum half Waylon Gasson went over in the ninth minute and added the conversion for a 7-0 lead.
Redruth got on the scoreboard when Scott Martin slotted over a penalty on 13 minutes and then on 27 minutes hooker Glen Cooper went over for his ninth try of the season and Redruth were in front at the break 8-7.
In the second half Gasson gave the home side the lead with a 59th minute penalty and then a few minutes later they got what proved to be the winning try.
It came from winger Sylvan Edwards, his 9th of the season, and they were 15-8 ahead.
Late in the game Redruth centre Paul Thirlby went over for as try but they missed the conversion to tie the scores and Dings took two very valuable points.
Launceston 30 (Tries: Heyns 2, Birkett, Sprangle. Cons: Porter 2. Pens: Porter 2.)
Westcombe Park 11 (Try: Hellyer. Pens: Garfoot.)
Launceston bounced back after their surprise loss against Basingstoke last time out.
They were behind though early on after Mark Garfoot slotted over a 4th minute penalty goal.
Simon Porter levelled on seven minutes but it took them till the 25th minute to take the lead when full back Andy Birkett went over for the games opening try. The visitors though were level again on 35 minutes with right wing Matt Hellyer going over for a try. In first half injury time flanker Wayne Sprangle gave the home side the lead and this time Porter converted for a 13-8 half time lead.
In the second half Porter kicked a 57th minute penalty but Park refused to go away and Garfoot made it 18-11 with a second penalty two minutes later.
They did manage two tries late in the game from No 8 Michael Heyns, which took him to the top of the try scorers list with16 for a 19 point win but with Blackheath winning by more than that at Weston they remain in second place.
Old Colfeians 14 (Tries: Powell, Corlett. Cons: Powell 2.)
North Walsham 24 (Tries: Thomas 2, Rossouw, Thorpe. Cons: Wyatt, Holmes.)
A much better performance from Old Colfeians after they poor display at Old Patesians last week.
They went ahead in the opening minute with full back Keith Powell crossing the visitors line and he also added the conversion. The visitors were on the scoreboard just three minutes later when No 8 Mark Thomas went over for a try to get within two of the home side.
The home side though went 14-5 ahead on 14 minutes when hooker Stephen Corlett went over for a try and again Powell added the extras and that was how it stayed till half time.
In the second half Thomas got a second try 10 minutes in to get within four of the home side.
North Walsham took the lead on 70 minutes with hooker Gideon Rossouw going over and this time Wyatt added the extras. They wrapped up the win on 76 minutes with a try from their prolific winger Andy Thorpe, his 15th of the season, and Matt Holmes added the conversion having just come on as a replacement for Wyatt.
Southend 42 (Tries: C Green 2, Pratt, Henley, Lucas, Connors. Cons: Chambers 3. Pens: Chambers.)
Old Patesians 22 (Try: Herdman. Con: Nock. Pens: Nock 5.)
Southend joined Old Patesians on 24 points after this home success which after making a great start they seemed to have thrown away before a strong finish saw them come through to take the points.
Full back Robert Nock gave the visitors the lead with a 2nd minute penalty goal. Southend then took control with Ali Chambers slotting over a 4th minute penalty goal. This was followed with tries by full back Chris Green and centre Gareth Pratt, Chambers converted one and he also added a penalty goal for an 18-3 lead.
Nock got a penalty just before the half time and then after the break slotted over three more and when he converted winger Greg Herdman’s try on 61 minutes they were 22-18 ahead and seemed to be on their way to victory.
Southend then got a try straight away with full back Chris Green going over for a double for a 23-22 lead.
They scored three tries in the final few minutes to pull away for the win with 19 points in five minutes to put a gloss on the result.
Tabard 18 (Tries: Drew, Johal. Con: Colborne. Pens: Colborne.)
Haywards Heath 17 (Tries: Mackie, Lyall. Cons: Mackie 2. Pen: Mackie.)
Huge game for both especially with Dings beating Redruth and it was Tabard who came out on top in a tight match.
Rob Colborne gave the home side the lead with a 9th minute penalty goal. They went 8-0 ahead when right wing Dene Miller went over for an unconverted try on 13 minutes.
Four minutes later and Haywards Heath were on the scoreboard with centre James Mackie going over and Hugh Griffin converting to get back to within a point of Tabard.
Just after the half hour mark flanker Jag Johal got the second Tabard try and this time Colborne converted for a 15-7 half time lead.
Four minutes into the second half Colborne slotted over a penalty goal for an 11-point lead.
Five minutes later it was game on again with flanker Damian Lyall going over and Griffin converting and just before the hour mark Griffin slotted over a penalty to get them within a point at 18-17.
That was how it stayed and Tabard took two vital points and Haywards Heath a little nervous.
Weston super Mare 7 (Try: Woodcock. Con: Reid.)
Blackheath 29 (Tries: Morrow, Brain. Cons: Coates 2. Pens: Coates 5.)
Blackheath did what they needed to do securing both points in this win at Weston super Mare.
The damage was done in the first half with the visitors building up a match winning 26-0 lead. Tries came from winger Robin Morrow and Chris Brain, which were both, converted by the boot of Derek Coates who also slotted over four penalty goal.
Weston did manage to get on the scoresheet on 50 minutes when scrum half Duncan Woodcock went over and James Reid converted. The final points of the game though belonged to the boot of Coates with a fifth penalty goal in a 19-point haul.
