June 2008
In March 2007, the RFU issued guidance on compliance with the Ticket Terms and Conditions to all Debenture Holders, Clubs, CBs, Referee Societies Schools and Universities. These guidelines are reviewed regularly in the light of changing circumstances and updated versions are available below.
IT IS IMPERATIVE that you (and all other individuals responsible for your allocation) are familiar with not only the Ticket Terms and Conditions (available under the Ts and Cs tab above) but ALSO the applicable guidance and that you use the guidance to help you/your Club, CB etc to comply with the Ticket Terms and Conditions
In any ticket case referred to the RFU failure to comply with the guidance is likely to increase any sanction that might be imposed (such sanction may include a reduction or loss of your ticket allocation).
The Ticket Terms and Conditions impose specific obligations in respect of sponsors, including entering into a proper agreement with them. Please see below a link to the RFU precedent sponsorship agreement, which we advise you consider using for all agreements entered into with sponsors. If you wish to use your own agreement it should include all the features set out in the precedent sponsorship agreement. If you need any advice or assistance, please do not hesitate to contact Karen Neale on 0208 831 6648 or KarenNeale@rfu.com.
