Berkhamsted Collegiate School’s sevens tournament saw 64 teams take part, with 153 matches played at U11, U13 and U18 girls’ level.

Trophies were presented by Ben Johnson, of Saracens and England to the winning teams: U11s Bedford, who defeated Warwick; U11 Plate St Colomba’s, who defeated Orley Farm; U13s Halliford who beat Whitgift; U13 Plate Abingdon, who beat Colston’s; U13 Bowl retained by King Henry VIII, who beat Wallington County Grammar.

In the U18 girls’ tournament, Rickmansworth beat Thomas A Stewart from Canada and the U18 girls’ plate was won by Dr Challoner’s, who beat Berkhamsted.

Berkhamsted hope to increase the U11 and U18 girls’ section next year. Interested teams should email grahamburchnall@hotmail.com.
