In order to raise funds for cancer research and to break the world record of the number of people to abseil at one location in a single day, no less than 1,132 people abseiled down Twickenham Stadium last month, breaking the previous record of 1,087.

The figure raised for cancer research from the event is in excess of £100,000. A number of RFU staff were amongst those who abseiled.
