Old Elthamians 7s Success

In winning the Kent County Sevens under 13s competition, Old Elthamians capped a wonderful season having lost only one game all year. Their quest for glory began with hosts Thanet, followed by two hard games against Blackheath and Dover, then a good win over Medway in the last group game. This left them top with maximum points and a try count of 25-3.

The final with Bromley saw Bromley edge ahead early in the first half, but hard work and good defence play brought OEs victory by 25-10, to make them Kent 7’s champions for the first time in the club’s history.
