Yorkshire won the Tetley’s National Counties 7-a-side trophy at Twickenham with a convincing 42-26 win over Cornwall.

They ran in six tries, two from Lee Cholewa and one each for Michael Worden, Steve Hobson, James Baker and Owen Drane, with Cholewa converting all six. In the Plate final, Middlesex beat the North Midlands 40-12, while Oxfordshire claimed the women’s title, beating Lancashire 29-12.
