In the National Sevens at Southampton the competition was fierce, especially in the Wasps versus Clifton semi final, which saw Clifton miss out by seven points to five.

Moving on to the final, however, Wasps were clearly in control, beating Saracens by 40-5 to lift the National Sevens Cup. The Senior Plate went to Cheltenham who beat Crawley 63-0 and the Senior Shield to Plymouth, who secured a 22-14 win over Oxford.

In the U18 competition Scorpions beat Harlequins by 26-10 and in the U16s Worcester beat Petersfield 36-7, with the U26s Plate going to Droitwich, who beat Oxford Barbarians 17-7.
