ERSC

England Rugby Supporters Club international success

In only its third month, the ERSC is thriving, especially following England’s Grand Slam victory. More than 2,000 rugby fans have signed up, including members from as far afield as the USA, Kenya, Hong Kong and Australia.

“There’s never been a better time to get involved with England Rugby,” said ERSC General Manager Tom Hill. “We’re delighted with the fantastic response we’ve had so far.”

Mark Beauchamp, from Enfield was the first to sign up. “Anything that gets you closer to the England team is great fun and the chance of getting tickets through the members’ ballot was an added attraction,” he said.

Just a few weeks later, Stephen Elliot, from Buckinghamshire, became the 1,000th member. “I wanted to support the team and have a chance to get international tickets,” said Elliot, a 44-year-old company director from Ashley Green. “I’ve had some fantastic days out at Twickenham. This is about being part of the England scene and giving something back.”

The Six Nations ticket ballot brought the chance to watch England in the RBS 6 Nations Championship, with one member, John Simmons, flying in from Chicago to watch England play Italy. Watching England at Twickenham, through the ticket ballot, and gaining ERSC preferential discount ticket prices are just two of the benefits of joining the ERSC.

For just £39, members receive:

• Free subscription to England Rugby, the official England magazine;
• 10% discount on RFU merchandise (an exclusive ERSC range is being launched in time for the RWC);
• Unique opportunities to meet the England squad;
• Inside track on England news;
• Guaranteed tickets to England away matches via ERSC official tours;
• Free prize draws, membership pack and preferential ticket rates on other Twickenham games;
• Reduced hotel rates with Intercontinental Hotel Group, plus lots of other member benefits from our TeamCard partners and sponsors.

Signing up before Monday 19th May also brings the chance to win a Barbarian shirt and two tickets to see England v Barbarians on Sunday 25th May courtesy of Lloyds TSB. One runner-up will also win two tickets to the match, which is likely to be a sell out. (Full competition rules can be found on www.rfu/ersc/).
